A Swivel Bar Stool takes a different kind of wear than a dining chair: constant mounting, dismounting, and footrest contact at counter or bar height. DMD wear-plates the footrest where shoes land, welds steel frames with powder-coat finishes for swivel and fixed-base models alike, and specifies Wood/Metal/Fabric (customizable) upholstery over commercial-grade foam where a cushioned seat is called for. Wood-frame stools use solid hardwood with reinforced joinery rather than the glued connections common in residential bar seating.
