A Plastic Chair gets pulled out, sat in, and pushed back hundreds of times a week, so DMD builds wood-frame chairs with reinforced joinery and glued mortise joints rather than the stapled connections common in residential seating. Metal-frame versions use welded steel with powder-coat finishes that resist chair-leg scuffing on tile and hardwood alike. Upholstered seats run commercial-grade high-density foam under Wood/Metal/Fabric (customizable) chosen to tolerate grease, wine, and bleach-based cleaners without losing its finish over repeated cycles.
