Construction & Materials
Upholstered Waiting Chair is built on a welded steel frame with a powder-coat finish and seat surfaces in cleanable polypropylene, upholstered vinyl, or contract fabric, engineered for constant, unsupervised use by patients and visitors who cycle through a waiting room all day. Linked and ganged configurations keep rows aligned and simplify floor cleaning between patients, while plastic and upholstered single-seat versions stack for storage during off-hours or events. Every surface is selected to tolerate the disinfectant wipe-downs a healthcare waiting area requires. Wood/metal frame; foam cushions; fabric/PU upholstery (customizable) choices default to non-porous, wipeable options unless your facility specifies otherwise.
Specification Notes
Hospitals and clinics specify Waiting Chairs against expected occupancy and their environmental services disinfectant list, and DMD coordinates Upholstered Waiting Chair seat counts and configuration, linked, plastic, or upholstered, to your exact floor plan before production. Ganging and anchoring hardware ship with linked configurations so rows install straight and stay code-compliant. For healthcare waiting areas we default to non-porous surfaces unless the design calls for something else. Send your room layout and expected occupancy and we will return a seating plan with product options and lead times.
