Construction & Materials
Heated Cabinet is built to the temperature and moisture demands of hotel breakfast service: dry-storage cabinets use moisture-sealed, edge-banded laminate carcasses; heated and refrigerated units add insulated panel construction and commercial-rated components engineered for continuous cycling, not intermittent home use. Exterior faces match the breakfast area's HPL or laminate finish schedule, while interiors are sealed and finished for the spills and steam a working buffet line generates. Hardware and hinges are contract-rated for the open-close frequency of daily service. Stainless steel construction with insulation selection balances the finish program against the equipment's actual duty cycle.
Specification Notes
Hotel operators and food-service consultants specify Food Service Cabinets as part of the breakfast area's full buffet package, coordinating cabinet width and finish with the counters and serving stations around it. DMD builds Heated Cabinet to the equipment cutouts, power, and ventilation your kitchen consultant specifies, and matches exterior finishes to the rest of the breakfast area. Because equipment specifications vary by manufacturer, we confirm dimensions and clearances before production rather than assuming a standard footprint. Send your equipment spec sheet and floor plan and we will return engineered shop drawings.
