Product Detail
Fixed row seating with polypropylene shells and shared metal supports
Typical production lead time: 9–10 weeks — see Lead Times

Construction & Materials
Fixed Seating is built on a structural steel frame engineered for code-compliant floor or riser anchoring, with seat surfaces in cleanable polypropylene, upholstered vinyl, or contract fabric over commercial foam depending on the lecture hall's use pattern. Fixed configurations bolt permanently to the riser; movable and cushioned configurations use the same frame family with hardware rated for occasional reconfiguration between event layouts. Row spacing and sightline geometry follow the architect's drawing rather than a stock module, and every joint is engineered for the load of continuous public assembly. Polypropylene shells; powder-coated steel supports selection balances comfort against the cleaning and durability standard of a lecture hall.
Specification Notes
University facilities teams and architects specify Tiered Seating around sightlines, row spacing, and code-compliant anchoring, coordinating those constraints directly with DMD before Fixed Seating goes into production. We supply fixed, movable, and cushioned configurations from one engineering standard so a lecture hall can mix seating types across sections without a mismatched frame underneath. Anchoring hardware and installation details are confirmed with your general contractor's structural drawings. Send your room layout, expected occupancy, and code requirements and we will return a seating plan with product options.
