Construction & Materials
A Residential Upholstered Dining Chair starts with the joint that fails first on cheap dining seating: the seat-to-leg connection. DMD frames use doweled and glued hardwood joinery or welded metal legs rather than the screwed butt joints common on stapled-together imports, so the chair stays tight through years of pulling out, sitting down, and pushing back in. Seats are either solid wood, upholstered over commercial-grade foam, or a wood-and-upholstery hybrid, built from Fabric/PU upholstery; foam; wood/metal frame selected for the wear a dining chair actually takes. Finishes match across a set so every chair at the table reads as one piece.
Specification Notes
A Residential Upholstered Dining Chair is specified alongside the dining table it serves, so seat height, arm clearance, and finish are set to that table rather than picked in isolation. Send the table dimensions and finish sample; DMD confirms seat height and produces the set to match. Because the chair is built to order, quantities can run from a single replacement to a full dining set without re-tooling. Provide your table specs and finish standard and we will confirm the chair profile before production starts.
