Media console construction built around cable and heat management
A Media Console carries more equipment weight and heat than a standard console, so DMD builds the carcass on plywood or MDF with reinforced shelf spans and rear cutouts sized to your cable and ventilation plan rather than a single generic hole. Surfaces are Laminate/MDF; optional metal legs with edge-banded, moisture-sealed fronts, and Laminate/veneer; edge-banded MDF is confirmed against your sample before the production run. Drawers and cabinet doors run on commercial-rated soft-close hardware, and open shelving is dadoed or mechanically fastened to hold component weight without sagging over time.

TV units get specified against the room's finish schedule first, screen size second: DMD matches Laminate/veneer; edge-banded MDF and Laminate/MDF; optional metal legs to the sofa and coffee table program in the same Residential order so the wall reads as one elevation. We size shelf openings to your equipment list and cable plan, and can adjust width and height to fit an existing wall niche during renovation without re-engineering the whole piece. Send your equipment list, room layout, and finish standard and we will return shop drawings for approval.
